My Ultimate Christmas List
I have been seen a lot of Bloggers posting their Christmas list this year. I feel like it’s a little early but think these are fun to read because it’s always interesting to know what someone wants for Christmas. It can tell you a lot about them.
Now those lists are fun, and I will make a real Christmas list eventually. I thought I should change things up, and instead of posting items that I want for Christmas I’m going to list things that are in my opinion crazy expensive I would not usually buy, but I would buy if money were no object I would.
I think it's funny that the Dyson is at the top of my list, but a cordless vacuum would make my life easier. I love how it can turn into a handheld vacuum in seconds. It's the one thing I want the most. I would get the most use of it.
I would also upgrade my Fitbit. I am one of those people who will get up and walk at 11:30 at night if I did not get all of my steps for the day.
Even though this is a fun but fake list, I forced myself to pick only one Chole bag. I have wanted one forever. I love the Marcie style, and there are several variations and colors. I fear if I won the lottery or had a windfall I would spend a week deciding which bag to get. I'm one of those people who will only purchase one even if I can afford more.
I am not surprised by the fact most of the items I picked were from Sephora and were makeup and skin care. I'm at the point in my life where skin care is my biggest concern. I added things that are expensive and that are supposed to be good. I added a few costly anti-aging creams/serums because I would buy them if I could.
I did add a Burberry coat because I have always wanted one. I added boots while I think Manolo Blahnik, Christain Louboutin, and Jimmy Choo make gorgeous shoes I never wear heels. I would love to own shoes from each designer because I do them, but they would go to waste. I feel like anyone could benefit from having a good coat and pair of boots in their wardrobe.
If money were no object, I would not spend my money on a wardrobe because styles do change and I would rather have a few quality staples than a brand new wardrobe. I know a lot of people who if given money to buy whatever they want would likely purchase new clothing.
This list was a challenge for me because I am very frugal and hate spending money on myself even if its pretend. Even more so because when I was telling my husband about it I said everything has to be over $75 because in my opinion spending more than $75 for most things is expensive and the boots I liked the most fell about ten dollars short.
I'm sick and trying to take it easy. But because I'm a mom that's not happening, so this list was a great distraction because I sat down for more than five minutes. So what would you put on your Christmas wish list if the cost was not an issue?
