I have been blogging as Practically Perfect Meg for three years now. Before that I had a Blogger account that I posted on. I spent the last several years in the blogging world. The one thing bloggers talk about, research, and worry about the most is traffic.

Before I used to post easy and fast cleaning tips and my travel tip posts used to be right to the point. I became so caught up in the technical aspect I forgot that. I was so worried about Google Rankings and editing the post to death I forget sometimes less is more. Especially when you came to my site to solve a problem, you want to skip ahead to the solution. 

Traffic Secrets reminded me of tried-and-true techniques and ones I never heard of. These alternative methods of increasing my traffic did not cost me any extra money. Heck, most of them were time efficient I could do them while drinking my morning tea.

Most of all, Brunson reminded me I needed to find my dream customer. Or in my case, a dream reader. I was so focused on SEO and gaining traffic in other ways I forgot to think about the person I was intending to write for. Which has changed the way I write. I know who I want to reach and what’s needed to help them get a better experience on my site.

Since reading Traffic Secrets I feel less stressed about writing and how to direct traffic to my blog. I have learned methods that are realistic and do not require hours of extra work. As a busy mom of three who homeschools, I felt my site was taking up too much of my time. I feel like Traffic Secrets has given the tools I need to remove this burden.
