I have been open on my blog how I have struggled with my weight. My metabolism is non-existent. I have been practicing intermittent fasting, eating low carb, and exercising, but it has taken me an entire year to lose 20 pounds. As I kept reading “Always Eat After 7 PM” it thrilled me to learn the program was compatible with intermittent fasting. Even though I am not losing weight as fast as I want, fasting helps keep me from eating mindlessly during the day. My husband works all day and I eat at night when he comes home. So “Always Eat After 7 PM” was perfect for my lifestyle. I was all in. Adding carbs back into my diet was a special bonus. We’ve been traditionally taught to avoid carbs, have an early dinner, and never eat before bed. But the fact is, the latest scientific research shows us this earlier model is not the most ideal.
