Things have changed fast lately, haven't they? Many cannot visit the gym and need to figure out how to workout from home. The simplest solution is to follow along with a workout online. Beachbody on Demand is one of the best fitness streaming channels. Beachbody is offering a free 14 day trial.

Which means once you sign up for the trial, you have a lot of choices for picking a workout. I have done most of Beachbody’s routines. Over the past 13 years, I have actively worked out with Beachbody. I got started with Turbo Jam and even took classes at the Gold’s Gym Chalene taught at. I am very familiar with these Beachbody programs and love them. 21 Day Fix or 21 Day Fix Real Time

Led by trainer Autumn Calabrese 21 Day Fix program has 7 different workouts you repeat for 3 weeks. 21 Day Fix Real Time is actually 21 different workouts for 21 days with bonus ab workouts. Autumn is a great trainer. Some trainers are annoying/grating and Autumn is not. She is very likeable. 

This is a no-nonsense workout. I have done 21 Day Fix and then followed up with 21 Day Fix Real Time. The workouts alternate strength training, Pilates, yoga, and cardio. You will need hand weights. This is perfect for any fitness level as you choose what weights to start with. There is a plus size modifier who works out next to Autumn for those of you who need modifications. 

I use this program after an illness or injury has kept me from working out for a few weeks to get back into shape. I also use it when I am in between programs or training for a running race. The workouts are about 30 minutes and very time effective. Remember the heavier you lift the harder the workout is. So if you are and advanced to intermediate exerciser lift moderate to heavy weights. If you are a beginner, light weights are a must. I would suggest moving on the 80 Day Obsession After doing both 21 Day Fix programs.

Country Heat

I said Autum Calabrese was an excellent trainer. Growing up, she wanted to be a dancer, and it shows in this workout. I dislike country music, and even I loved this program, which is mostly cardio. You can do the Dance Conditioning workout for toning. It does not require equipment, and there is a modifier. Autumn breaks each dance routine down in one workout. Then the next workout is the dance routine without a breakdown and is a little faster paced. It is easy to follow along and you will get a good workout.  

This program is perfect for those who hate exercising as it is a dance based routine. It is perfect for every fitness level, and I think kids can follow along. I have been able to do this workout in my tiny apartment living room with no problem. 

Most workouts are under 30 minutes. Some routines and breakdowns are short, so you can mix and match your workout. This is one of the funnest workouts on Beachbody on Demand. I would try it.

LIIFT 4 

I have a soft spot for this program as I love to lift. Joel Freeman the instructor does not waste your time. You do a moderate to advanced weight training workout some with HIT in the mix for 30-40 minutes a day 4 Days a week. 

Anyone can start the program, but if you're out of shape or new to working out start with light weights. This program, was responsible for me moving from 8 pounds as my heaviest weight to 12 pounds as a heavy weight. It’s perfect for keeping your body conditioned and improving overall strength. And no worries ladies, you won't bulk up. You need to eat a very specific diet to bulk up. 

LIIFT 4 is perfect for those who like lifting at the gym or prefer working out four days a week. If you are used to working out with a trainer, this workout may be a better choice for you.

T25 

Shaun T also delivers a no-nonsense workout. If you need a trainer who talks a lot and delivers a more encouraging rhetoric, this is for you. If you like working out with a personal trainer, this workout is for you.

Alternating between strength and cardio workouts this one is a time saver. All workouts are 25 minutes. Beginners can start with T25, there is a modifier. I have issues with most of the modifications in Beachbody workouts because I have back and hip issues. I never stood there without a modification that didn’t work for me. 

Some strength workouts do not require barbells, while others rely on body weight. This keeps those muscles guessing. If you are experiencing a weight loss plateau, this workout may help. 

Just check under materials on Beachbody on Demand to be sure you are doing the workouts in the right order.

Turbo Jam

This is an oldie but a goodie. Flashing back to the 2000s this workout is for everyone. Every time I hit a plateau or want to mix things up, I do Turbo Jam. The magic is in the cardio workouts. A fusion of kickboxing, martial arts, and dance, the routines is fun and effective. You will work your entire body while doing cardio. 

The strength training portion is perfect for beginners. There are plenty of modifications. If you are intermediate, just lift heavier weights and follow Chalene. You can do this in an apartment, I have the teensiest workout space and make it work. 

If you crave high energy workouts that make you break a sweat, Turbo Jam is for you.

Brazil Butt Lift

Leandro Carvalho’s Brazil Butt Lift was the hottest workout for years. He trained Alessandra Ambrosio, and other Victoria’s secret models. He has a dynamic personality and is a good trainer. If you are already in good shape or just want to make sure your bottom looks perfect during swimsuit season, then Brazil Butt Lift is for you. Brazil Butt Lift targets the glutes with an effective workout. You will need a resistance band and weights. 

If you are fit or want to tone up, Brazil Butt Lift is for you. Some moves are hard, especially with resistance bands. Anyone can do this workout. If you are looking for a dramatic transformation, this won’t cut it. The cardio is too easy, and the focus is mostly on the lower body. I also recommend integrating the Brazil Butt Lift into your routine once or twice a week if you feel your lower body workout is neglecting your glutes. 

Brazil Butt Lift is a good lower body/booty workout and program for those who just need to keep moving. If you want a more thorough workout, opt for 21 Day Fix or LIIFT 4. Then opt to do this after your workout on leg day. Your glutes will thank you.

Youv2

I saved the best for last. Leandro Carvalho is not only energetic but super talkative in this workout. I normally hate it when the instructor talks a lot, but that is part of Youv2’s charm. Who doesn't want the fitness instructor who can’t see tell you you’re sexy? Leandro’s dialog and energy are everything. Some people will not care much for Leandro’s infectious cheer.

The bulk of the workouts is fun dance based cardio workouts. Youv2 is aimed towards plus-sized women, and participants are having a blast. No matter your size or fitness level, this workout will get you moving. Kids can do it too. Do this workout when you feel alone or down in the dumps. Leandro is too much! However, that is not a bad thing! Exercising should be fun. The people exercising in the workout should have fun. This is what Youv2 delivers a fun workout everyone can do and enjoy. 

These are the workouts I recommend for now. Beachbody is releasing Barre Blend in June, and I cannot wait for it to come out. If you click the Heath & Fitness tab, you will find more Beachbody reviews. I just finished Morning Meltdown 100, which I did not care much for.
